Close up shot of the White Wind shoes from Baga Baga

The Canvas Brand

This inspired endeavour found its expression in a pair of shoes. Our shoes are tributes to those that have come before us. We love the balance between aesthetic and wearability, and when paired with the right trousers, the result is almost musical.

About

Our Origins

Germinating from the idea that confidence derives its faculty from attire, Baga Baga set out to become a statement piece, peaking out under well-fitted denim jeans. So, ostensibly, our shoes aim to evolve your personality. Following the iconography of what once was, our canvas on canvas bring out a degree of pomp. The debut boots collection and its offspring, the penny loafers, are blended in form, wearability, and remarkable quality.

The intuition to pick the right pair of shoes and own it. There’s also the value of a tactile satisfaction.

What's BB?

It is attributed to our hubris that we present Baga Baga as more than just woven hemp fabric domiciled on a rubber sole thats lightweight and breathable. The brand’s longevity comes from the repeated mitosis of communities across cities, where our shoes compliment the artistic fraternities, giving the wearer a chic boost, catalysing their confidence. Simply put, we throw a pair of shoes into your character development.

Are we the shuttle in the heirloom, creating a tapestry of artistic depth by being your muse? Maybe.
