Walk A Mile In Her Shoes

In Creative Cahoots

An Italian haute designer shoot in Bologna

Within the chasm of time that Sarah gets off work from modelling, a day job in naming convention but in no way reflects a hard coded routine, she immediately deviates into the surreal world of translating ideas and vague anecdotes into manuscripts. ‘I don’t get bogged down if i’m not seated on my favourite chesterfield sofa, or if my meisterstuck Montblanc pen isn’t with me. I get to it with intensity no matter what; scribble pads, the ThinkPad, or even sheets of hotel room letter head papers are fine, just as long as I pour out written diarrhea, i.e filling up pages after pages. A blank page isn’t a pretty sight.’

From an Italian haute designer shoot in Bologna to a cashmere sweater fitting in Dubai, her modus operandi is constantly tested, but with valour, she pulls through, leaving in a bit of time to finish each page.

The occasional post shoot socialising with mimosas does inhibit the quotidian parts of her routine,  ‘so what’ was her response. ‘Drink an electrolyte water, close the curtains, and pull through.’
